Description

Illinois School of Real Estate 30-hour Illinois Broker Endorsement Course is designed for real estate licensees from other states who seek to obtain their Illinois license through endorsement. The program provides a comprehensive understanding of Illinois-specific real estate laws, licensing requirements, rules of agency, compensation practices, contracts, disclosure obligations, fair housing regulations, and professional conduct expectations. It equips out-of-state brokers with the necessary knowledge to operate within Illinois regulatory standards and pass the required state exam.

Broker requirements

  • Hold an active license in good standing as a broker, managing broker, or its equivalent (salesperson) in another state or jurisdiction.
  • Complete the 30-hour Broker Endorsement Course
  • Pass the Real Estate Broker Endorsement Examination on Illinois real estate brokerage laws
  • Apply for your broker license by endorsement
