Description

Illinois School of Real Estate 30-hour Illinois Managing Broker Endorsement Course is designed for real estate licensees from other states who seek to obtain their Illinois license through endorsement. Licensees should hold an active Managing Broker license or its equivalent in good standing and be actively practicing as a Managing Broker or its equivalent in another state or jurisdiction during the immediately preceding two years. The program provides a comprehensive understanding of Illinois-specific real estate laws, licensing requirements, rules of agency, compensation practices, contracts, disclosure obligations, fair housing regulations, and professional conduct expectations. It equips out-of-state brokers with the necessary knowledge to operate within Illinois regulatory standards and pass the required state exam.

Managing Broker Requirements

  • Hold an active Managing Broker license or its equivalent in good standing and be actively practicing as a Managing Broker or its equivalent in another state or jurisdiction during the immediately preceding two years.
  • Complete the 30-hour Managing Broker Endorsement Course
  • Pass the Real Estate Managing Broker Endorsement Examination on Illinois real estate brokerage laws
  • Apply for your managing broker license by endorsement
