75-hour Broker Pre-License Program

Illinois School of Real Estate 75-hour Broker Pre-License Program includes enrollment in the 60-hour (self-guided) Broker Pre-License Topics course and your choice of dates for the 15-hour Broker Pre-License Applied Real Estate Principles Interactive webinar.

The self-guided, 60-hour Broker Pre-License Topics Course is a mandatory component of Illinois broker pre-license education. It has reading, videos and quizzes to show student participation and proficiency. You must score at least 80% on a module review to advance to the next module. You will be able to retake all quizzes to achieve 80% or better, and until you are confident in your knowledge of the coursework.

The course will cover information on real estate math, concepts, brokerage, real property, contracts, the Illinois Real Estate License Act of 2000, financing, property management, appraisal, use controls for government and private land, fair housing, environmental issues, closing, and the updated TILA/RESPA information.

eBook: link and access code are sent electronically on weekdays during business hours. The eBook is a paperless study option. It is searchable. It is not printable.

Textbook: physical textbooks are sent via UPS on weekdays during business hours. The Modern Real Estate Practice in Illinois Textbook can be purchased for and additional $40 by adding it to your cart.

The 15-Hour Broker Pre-License Applied Real Estate Principles Interactive webinar is a mandatory component of Illinois broker pre-license education. Participants will choose webinar dates when 80% of the 60-hour Topics course is completed.

All webinars start promptly at 9:00 a.m. both days. End time is 4:30 p.m. CST both days.  Students are required to be online for the entire course time and interact with live chat and quizzes. Attendance is taken throughout the webinar. If a student misses more than 15 minutes, they will be required to retake the entire 15-hour webinar.

This course provides live instruction from a veteran instructor in the practical application of many concepts and practices learned in the 60-hour Topics course.

15-hour Interactive Webinar: The week prior to the webinar, learners will receive an email from with further information about accessing the Zoom session and Interactive coursework.

You must use a computer or laptop with a strong internet signal. Google Chrome is the best browser to use for this webinar.

Changing dates will require the payment of a $25 processing fee. “No Show” learners will be charged a $40 fee before being registered for another date. There are no refunds for “no show” learners.
