Description
Illinois School of Real Estate 15-Hour Residential Leasing Agent Pre-License Home Study is a required course for persons who want to engage in the leasing of residential property. As a Residential Leasing Agent, you will be able to work with property owners to market and show their properties and help them attract new tenants. You may also help renters find and lease properties.

Course Description
The Real Estate License Act of 2000 includes a provision for a limited scope license to enable persons who want to engage in the leasing of residential property in Illinois to obtain a license from the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. A Leasing Agent must have a Real Estate Broker or Managing Broker sponsor them as a licensee before engaging in any residential leasing activities. This 15- hour training course contains information on The License Act of 2000, Fair Housing/Owner Tenant Relationships, and Agency/Contracts.
Course Exam
Students have 180 days from the date of purchase to complete this course and the course exam. To complete this course, and receive an official transcript, each student must successfully pass a final exam with a minimum score of 75%. A 50-question course exam is required to complete this course. Information on registering for this exam is at the beginning and end of the course. Please follow the instructions for obtaining a PSI Student ID and registering for the course final with Illinois School of Real Estate.
Course Expiration
The course expires 180 days from the date of purchase. Students requiring longer than 6 months (but less than one year) from the date of purchase are eligible to purchase an extension at the cost of $100. The extension period shall not exceed 90 days and may not be extended past one year from the original date of purchase. Contact [email protected] or all extension requests.
